"Pippa the Purple Bunny Doll Pattern©"
By Connie Hughes Designs©
If you're like me, you probably get tired of making dolls
only to find that after you've added hair, big ears or a hat and then the head
starts drooping...well my new bunny's head started to do that...
So I just had to find a way to make that head sturdier...
After a little research online and not finding any ideas other than a wooden
dowel or piece of wire and quite frankly you simply cannot give a child
a plushy toy with either of those two items in it!
So I racked my brain for a few days and then I got an idea...
It looks weird but it works, I put it in my new bunny doll and her head is perfect...
So scroll down to the bottom to see what I did!
She is wearing her garden crown & garden boots...and she
comes with her every own garden wheelbarrow!
The pattern includes the doll and all the crocheted accessories pictured.
Plus lots of how to pictures!!
The Pattern is available for only $2.99 at the link below:
She also has a garden sun hat!
She even has her very own removable gardening boots!
Her Beautiful Purple Eyes are from Suncatcher Craft Eyes
I attached 2 spring inspired wreaths
on each side of the wheelbarrow!
Gardening Wreaths for the Wheelbarrow
You can put her ears up or down like I did.
Her little hat is adorned with a sweet pink rose!
Here is how to make the head sturdy!
Here's what you do!
Wrap a long piece of scrap yarn around the
poly fiber fill and keep wrapping tightly.
Until it becomes stiff.
When it's stiff put it inside the head of your doll...place
poly fiber fill all around the head so the stiff
piece is in the middle. If you
have a big doll with a big head you could even
put in 2 to make it sturdy!
