Cute Crochet Coasters-Pattern©

Cute Crochet Coasters-Pattern©
Do you have trouble getting your
kidsto use coasters...will if so here
are some they'll really like using!
I made a little Red Race Car, one with buttons, and of course Mickey Mouse Style

There's a Turtle and a Goldfish!
Here's the Free Pattern, these
are super simple to make, and are
all crocheted in the round.
Free Pattern:
I used a G hook 4.0mm
For Coasters
Row 1. Ch 3 wk 11 hdc in the 1ch from the hook join with sl st, ch 2
Row 2. wk 2 hdc in each st around, join with sl st, ch 2
Row 3. wk 1 hdc in the next 2 sts, wk 2 in the next st, around, join with sl st, ch 2
Row 4.wk 3 hdc in the next 3 sts, wk 2 in the next, around, join sl st, ch 2
Row 5. wk 1 hdc st all the way around in the back loops only
You can stop at this point if you want to or you can
add another row.
Just join with sl st, ch 2 and wk 1 hdc all the way around join
and fasten off.
For the Mickey ears
Wk row 1 and half of row 2, you will start seeing the shape, sew them on!
For the Turtle's front legs, make 2
Ch 6, wk 3 hdc in the 1st st, wk 2 hdc in the next, wk 1 hdc in the next 4 sts
For back legs, make 2
Ch 8, wk 3 hdc in the 1st st, wk 2 hdc in the next 7 sts
For the head
Ch 12, wk 4 hdc in the 1st and 2nd st, wk 1 hdc in next 9 sts,
turn and wk 1 hdc all the way around including the 2 sts
with 4 sts, sl st the rest of the sts and fasten off.
Sew onto the bottom of coaster, make a sl knot
for eye, I trimmed mine with a light mint green!
For the Goldfish
Ch 3, wk 3 hdc in the 1st st, ch 2 and turn
wk 2 hdc in the 1st st, wk 1 hdc in the next, 2 hdc in the last st, ch 2, turn
wk 1 hdc in the next row, ch 2 and turn
wk 2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in 3 sts, 2 in the next
repeat this until you have a nice size fish head shape
I did about 9 rows, the top fin and tail is worked in
the same manner, make eye with a slip knot!
The Red Race Car
To make tires, follow rows 1 and 2 for the
coasters, for rims, head lights and tail lights do row 1 of coasters.
Happy Crocheting!

Sir Knight Helmet & Scarf

 My son-in-law found this hat
online and really liked it!
So I bought the pattern and
made it for him...Idaho has
some pretty extreme weather
so I think it will get some
wear...perfect for wearing it on
campus running in between classes!
Putting it in the mail tomorrow!

Spa Day Basket©

Spa Day Basket©
It's almost Valentine's Day
do you know someone who could use a
"Spa Day"
Well here's a cute basket idea...
just for that someone!
It looks so pretty, it would also be
really nice to put one in a guest
your company would love it!

Spa's are expensive and it's
 hard to get away with
work and the kids...so have a day at
home...make a basket and fill it with all
the things you and your love one likes!
This is a pattern I created for this basket.
I used the Bobble stitch to trim it...
Then I crocheted the wash cloths,
added bath salts, aromatherapy facial mask, home made soap, and a wonderful
smelling Caribbean Papaya candle!
Now you have a Spa Day Basket©
Ready for a
"Spa Day"
Happy Crocheting!

Happy Valentine's Day

Tell your Sweetheart that
you love them!
With this super easy
Valentine's Day Banner
Turn an everyday cake plate into a
pretty candle display
I also added some pretty plastic
ruby's and some white cake doilies!
I would take the ribbon off when lighting!
The Banner is really easy to make:
Ch 2
Row 1-wk 1sc in 2nd ch from the hook, ch1
Row 2-wk 1sc in each st, ch 1 turn
Row 3-wk 2sc in each st, (4 sts) ch1 turn
Row 4- wk 1sc in each st, ch 1 turn
Row 5-wk 2sc in the first st,
1sc in the next 2 sts,
wk 2sc in the last st, ch1 turn
Row 5-sc in the next 6 sts, ch 1 turn
Row-6 wk 2sc in the 1st st,
1sc in the next 4 sts,
2 sc in the last st, ch1 turn
Continue repeating your rows.
This is just a matter of increasing your stitches in every other row.
I ended my triangle with 28
stitches in my last row,
you can make it as big or
as small as you want!

When I had it as big as I wanted,
I sc all the way around. I did mine in red, so you can't see it very well...
I think it gives it a really clean look!

I made a long chain using red and
white yarn together
I chained about 280 or so, then
I sewed each little flag on.
The letters were just sewed on
after I chained them.
I made some little curly Q's by
chaining about 20 and
sc in each stitch, I made
 3 all different length's.

You could make it for a party,
a baby's room,
a big team flag for a little boy's room.
This would be really cute at a baby
shower for babies name reveal!
This one I sc all the way around, ch 2,
wk 3hdc in the 1st st,
slip stitch in the next,
repeat all the way around.
This is really pretty and perfect
for a little girl!
 Happy Crocheting!!
