Row 1. 1sc in each st, ch1 & turn.
Rows 2-9. repeat row 1
Row 10. 1sc in each st and FO.
Change to Green or Red

To make the Long White Pillow: with White Yarn G Hook (make 2)

Rows 2-12. Repeat row 1, after row 12 FO.
Attach red yarn and ch3, wk 3dc in each st around and FO.
Since this is a decorative pillow, sew the lights on, but not all the way flat...take a long strand of green yarn and weave it in and out along the top part of each light where the grey is...this way it looks like a real strand of lights.
I love these because they are perfect for preschoolers...and
you can make them in your child's favorite

This is a very pretty pillow...but I think it would look better in
green or white!
To make the Christmas Present Pillow: with Gold Yarn & 4.5 Hook (make 2)

Row 28. ch3, wk 3dc in each st and FO.
This is the bow that is on top of the pillow...I just didn't put
the tails on the pillow...down below you'll find the
pattern on how to make the tails!
To make the Big Red Bow: with Red & 4.5 Hook (make 2)

To make the side pieces that wrap around the Present Pillow: 4.5 Hook (make 2)

Repeat row 1 until it reaches around the front of the pillow.
I love bows and it's just not Christmas without at
least one big red bow...this is pretty on the back
of chairs or on a wreath!
To make the Bow Tails: with a 4.5 Hook (make 4)

Row 1. 1sc in 10sts, ch1 & turn.
Rows 2-20. repeat row 1
Row 21. dec1 sc, 1sc in 8sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 22. 1sc in 9sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 23. dec1 sc, 1sc in 7sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 24. 1sc in 8sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 25. dec1 sc, 1sc in 6, ch1 & turn.
Row 26. 1sc in 7sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 27. dec1 sc, 1sc in 5sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 28. 1sc in 6sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 29. dec1 sc, 1sc in 4sts, ch1 & turn.

I love getting out the Christmas China and setting
the table...and I love the big bow so I thought
"hey why not a little bow around my napkins"
this to is super easy!
The little Bow Napkin Rings: with 4.5 Hook (make 2)
Ch9
Row 1. 1sc in 8, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. dec1 sc, 1sc in 4, dec1 sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 3. 1sc in 6sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 4. dec1 sc, 1sc in 2, dec1 sc, ch1 & turn.
Rows 5-6. 1sc in 4, ch1 & turn.
Row 7. 2sc, 1sc in 2, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 8. 1sc in 6sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 9. 2sc, 1sc in 4, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 10. 1sc in 8sts, FO the 1st bow.
When your done with the 2nd bow ch1 and with both pieces together wk 1sc around both, ch1 around each corner and FO.
To make the center of the Bow: 4.5 Hook
Ch6 (leave a 3inch tail on both sides, sew center with the tails).
Row 1. 1sc in 5sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. repeat row 1 and FO.
To make the Ring: 4.5 Hook
Ch19 & join with a sl st
Row 1. wk 1sc in each st around.
Rows 2-4. repeat row 1 and FO.
Sew the ring to the back of bow.
I have to say my Snowman has turned out to be one of
my favorite projects...I bought these little lights at the
Craft Store and thought he would look so
cute holding a strand...and these little lights got me
going and that is why this post and patterns exist...you just
never know where your inspiration will come!
To make the Snowman: with F Hook & White yarn
To make the top snowball:
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook-6sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in each st-24sts.
Rows 6-9. repeat row 5
Row 10. 1sc in 2, dec1 sc-18sts.
The eyes are size 9mm & put them in around the 5th or 6th row.
Row 11. 1sc in 1, dec1 sc-12sts. Stuff
Row 12. Dec1 sc until closed and FO.
To make the middle snowball: F Hook
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook-6sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in 3, 2sc in the next st-30sts.
Row 6. 1sc in each st-30sts.
Rows 7-10. repeat row 6
Row 11. 1sc in 3, dec1 sc-24sts.
Row 12. 1sc in 2, dec1 sc-18sts.
Row 13. 1sc in 1, dec1 sc-12sts. Stuff
Row 14. dec1 sc until closed and FO.
To make the bottom snowball: F Hook
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook-6sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in 3, 2sc in the next st-30sts.
Row 6. 1sc in 4, 2sc in the next st-36sts.
Row 7. 1sc in each st-36sts.
Rows 8-11. repeat row 7
Row 12. 1sc in 4, dec1 sc-30sts.
Row 13. 1sc in 3, dec1 sc-24sts.
Row 14. 1sc in 2, dec1 sc-18sts.
Row 15. 1sc in 1, dec1 sc-12sts. Stuff
Row 16. dec1 sc until closed and FO.
To make the Black Hat on the Snowman: F Hook
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook-6sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc in each st-12sts.
Rows 4-10. repeat row 3
Row 11. 1sc, 2sc-18sts.
Row 12. 1hdc, 2hdc in the FLO in each st and FO.
With red make a ch big enough to go around the hat, sew in place.
To make the carrot nose: with Orange yarn C or D Hook
Ch2
wk 3sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Repeat this until the nose is the length you want, dec1 sc until closed and FO.
To make the Scarf: D Hook & Green yarn
Ch5
Wk 1sc in 4sts, ch1 & turn.
Repeat until scarf is at the desired length.
To make the Red Mittens: with Red yarn & D Hook
Ch7 join with a sl st
Row 1. 1sc in 6sts, join & ch1.
Row 2. 1sc in 6sts, in the last st ch3, sl st into the same st.
Row 3. 1sc in 5sts, leave the ch3 sts unworked.
Row 4. 1sc in 5, dec all sts and FO.
I had to work at it to get them just right....so don't give up.
To make the coasters: with Light Grey yarn 4.5 Hook!
Ch11
Row 1. 1sc in each st-10sts.
Rows 2-7. repeat row 1
Change color
Row 8. 2sc, 1sc in 8, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 9. 1sc in 12sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 10. 2sc, 1sc in10, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 11. 1sc in 14sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 12. 2sc, 1sc in12, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
