Doll measures a little over 13inches tall.

Yarns used in Pattern:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarns in:
Spring Green
Amethyst 
Light Yellow
Warm Brown
Red

Other Materials used in Pattern:
Poly Fiber Fill
Light Grey Felt (small pieces for the belts)
White Felt (small pieces for the eyes)
Tapestry Needle (to FO with & Make Toes)
2 Wooden Skewers (for the weapons, cut and sized to fit)
Craft Paint in Brown, Black & Grey (for the weapons/initials)
Craft Glue or Hot Glue Gun

Hooks Used
D & C

I used 9mm Saftey Eyes on one doll and size 12mm on the other because of I ran out of 9's. 
So use whatever you prefer.


To make the Head & Body: with Spring Green & D Hook
Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in 3, 2sc in the next st-30sts.
Row 6. 1sc in 4, 2sc in the next st-36sts.
Row 7. 1sc in 36sts
Rows 8-11. Repeat row 7
Put the eyes in about the 11 or 12th row counting from the top of the head down.
Row 12. 1sc in 4, 2sc in 6sts, 1sc in 16, 2sc in 6sts, 1sc in 4sts-48sts.
Row 13. 1sc in 48sts
Rows 14-19. Repeat row 13
Stuff as you go
Row 20. 1sc in 6, dec1sc around-42sts.
Row 21. 1sc in 2, dec1sc around-32sts.
Row 22. 1sc, dec1sc around, dec the last 2sts.
Row 23. Dec1sc 10x, 1sc in the last st.
Row 24. 1sc in 11sts
Row 25. 2sc in each st around-22sts.
Row 26. 1sc in 20sts, 2sc in 2sts-24sts.
Row 27. 1sc in 3, 2sc around-30sts.

To make the Mask: with Red/Amethyst & D Hook
Ch81, wk 1sc in 25sts, ch6, sk 6sts, 1sc in 4, ch6, sk 6, 1sc in 39sts and FO.
Wrap around the head and sew in place.

To make the Legs: with Spring Green & D Hook

Leave a long tail & ch5  Use a stitch marker
Row 1. 1sc in 3, 3sc in the last st, working on the other side of the ch, wk 1sc in 2, 2sc in the last st-10sts.
Row 2. 2sc in 1, 1sc in 3, 2sc in 2, 1sc in 3, 2sc in the last st-14sts.
Row 3. 2sc, 1sc in 5, 2sc in 2, 1sc in 5, 2sc in the last st-18sts.
Row 4. 2sc in 2, 1sc in 6, 2sc in 3sts, 1sc in 6, 2sc-24sts.
Row 5. 2sc in 3, 1sc in 20sts, 2sc-28sts.
Row 6. 1sc in each st around-28sts.
Row 7. 1sc in 14sts, dec1sc 4x, 1sc in 6sts-24sts.

Stuff the foot

When making the next leg, you want the muscles to be on the other side. So reverse the sts. I had to work with them a little bit to get it right.
Do not seal up the legs, wk 5 or 7 hdc sts along the outside of the legs, then wk 6 or 7 sc sts and FO. Stuff the top part of the legs and sew to the body.

To make the Foot:

To make the Arms: with Spring Green & D Hook (make 2)

Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-12sts.
Rows 3-4. 1sc in 12sts around.
Row 5. 1sc, dec1sc around-6sts.
Rows 6-7. 1sc in 6sts around.
Row 8. 1sc in each st, add 1st-7sts.
Row 9. 1sc in each st, add 1st-8sts.
Row 10. 1sc in each st, add 1st-9sts.
Stuff arms lightly but stuff to define the muscles.
Row 11. 1sc in 9sts
Row 12. 1sc in each st, add 3sts-12sts.
Rows 13-14. 1sc in 12sts
Row 15. 2hdc in 2sts, 1sc in 10sts.
Row 16. dec1sc 2x, 1sc in 10sts.
Row 17. 1sc in 12sts
Rows 18-22. repeat row 17
Row 23. 1sc in 6, 2sc in 3sts, 1sc in 3sts.
Row 24. 1sc in 15sts
Rows 25-26. repeat row 24
Row 27. randomly dec 3sts, 1sc in 12sts and stuff lightly.
Row 28. 1sc in 12sts
Row 29. dec1sc 6x
Row 30. dec1sc 3x and FO.

To make the Fingers: with Spring Green & C Hook (make 2 for each hand)

Ch7, 1slst in 6sts and FO.
To make the Thumbs: with Spring Green & D Hook (make 2)
Ch5, 1slst in 4sts and FO.
Sew the fingers & thumb in place.

To make the Leg Bands: with Red/Amethyst Yarn & D Hook (make 2)
Ch19
Row 1. 1slst in 18sts across, ch19, wk 1slst in each st across and FO.
Sew bands around each arm.

To make the Arm Bands: with Red/Amethyst Yarn & D Hook (make 2)
Ch16
Row 1. 1slst in 15sts, ch16 and repeat.

To make the Wrist Bands: with Red/Amethyst Yarn & D Hook (make 2)
Ch10, wk 1slst in 9 and FO. Sew it around the wrist area.

To make the Turtle Shell: with Forest Green Yarn & D Hook
Ch2
Repeat rows 1-7
Row 8. 1sc in 6, 2sc in the next st-48sts.
Row 9. 1sc in 7, 2sc in the next st-54sts.
Row 10. 1sc in 8, 2sc in the next st-60sts.
Row 11. 1sc in the BLO in 60sts and FO.
Make 2nd piece by repeating rows 1-10, put the 2 pieces together and wk 1slst in the BLO in one piece and the FLO in the next piece, stuff and FO.

To make the Chest Plate: with Pale Yellow Yarn & D Hook

Ch9
Row 1. 1sc in 8sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. 2sc, 1sc in 6sts, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 3. 1sc in 10sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 4. 2sc, 1sc in 8sts, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 5. 1sc in 12sts, ch1 & turn.
Rows 6-11. 1sc in 12sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 12. dec1sc, 1sc in 8sts, dec1sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 13. 1sc in 10sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 14. dec1sc, 1sc in 6sts, dec1sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 15. 1sc in 3, 1slst in 2, 1sc in 3, ch1 & turn.
Row 16. 1sc in 3, 1slst in 2, 1sc in 3, ch1 do not turn.
Row 17. 1sc in each st around.
Change to Warm Brown
Row 18. 1sc in each st around and FO.
Sew to the front of the doll.  (Optional I used brown eye shadow and a make up brush to put the lines on the front of the chest plates).

To make the Belt: with Warm Brown & D Hook
Ch65
Row 1. wk 1hdc in the 2nd st from the hook and in each st across and FO.
Sew the belt to the back of the shell, wrap it around the front and sew in place.
With light grey felt cut out a tiny circle, paint initials on hot glue in place.

To make the side Strap: with Warm Brown & D Hook
Ch66
Row 1. wk 1hdc in the 2nd st from the hook and in each st across and FO.
