Tea Cup Pin Cushion

"Tea Cup Pin Cushion"
I love my tea cups...and I love looking at them but I only get to
see them when I'm sipping tea...and in warm weather
that isn't to often...so I turned my smallest tea cup
into an adorable pin cushion!
Now I can look at any time I want to...and it looks
so pretty sitting in my work space!
Super simple to make and beautiful to look at!
Take some poly fill and wrap some pretty fabric around it,
stuff inside your favorite tea cup...that's it!

Great Grandma's Cocoa Pies

"Great Grandma's Cocoa Pies"
In the Kitchen
When I was a kid my mom use to make these simple, but
oh so good little pies...her grandmother use to
make them for her when she was little...
I use to make them for my kids when they were young...my
oldest really loved these when she was small.
All you need is a little Pillsbury Pie Crust (my mom made her own)
but this is good pie crust and what a time saver...all I do is roll
it out...place a round bowl on top of the rolled dough...with a knife
I trim around the bowl and "walla" you have a perfect round disc!
Mix white sugar with a little bit of Hersey's Cocoa until sweet...spoon
sugar mixture on top of dough...add a little dollop of unsalted
Land O' Lakes butter on top...fold over and press both pieces
of dough together to close...you can also make
them with Cinnamon...that's my husband's favorite!
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 12 to 15 minutes
or until golden brown.
Store in an air tight container...I love to warm them up by
putting them in the
microwave oven for about 12 seconds.
If your like me and love pie crust...then you will love these.
