With White yarn and F Hook
To make the head & body:
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the 2nd st from hook-6sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st, around-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2sts, 2sc in the next st, around-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in 3, 2sc in next st, around-30sts.
Row 6. 1sc in 4sts, 2sc in the next st-36sts.
Row 7. 1sc in 5sts, 2sc in the next st, around-42sts.
Row 8. 1sc in each st around-42sts.
Place the safety eyes in row 15.
Rows 9-20. Repeat row 8-42sts.
Row 21. 1sc in 5sts, dec1, around-36sts.
Row 22. 1sc in 4sts, dec1, around-30sts.
Row 23. 1sc in 3sts, dec1, around-24sts.
Row 24. 1sc in 2sts, dec1, around-18sts.
Row 25. 1sc in 1st, dec1, around-12sts.
Row 26. 1sc in 12sts.
Row 27. 1sc in 1, 2sc in next st. around-18sts.
Row 28. 1sc in 18sts.
Row 29. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st, around-24sts.
Row 30. 1sc in 24sts.
Rows 31-34. Repeat row 30-24sts.
Row 35. 1sc in 3sts, 2sc in the next st-30sts.
Row 36. 1sc in 30sts.
Rows 37-39. Repeat row 36-30sts.
Row 40. 1sc in 4sts, 2sc in the next-36sts.
Rows 41-42. 1sc in each st, around-36sts.
Row 43. 1sc in 4sts, dec1, around-30sts.
Row 44. 1sc in 3sts, dec1, around-24sts.
45. 1sc in 2sts, dec1, around-18sts.
46. 1sc in 1st, dec1, around-12sts.
47. dec until closed and FO.

To make the 3 red feathers
With red yarn and a F Hook to make the first feather
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 5sc in the 2nd st from the hook-5sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-10sts.
Rows 3-9. 1sc in each st-10sts.
Row 10. Dec1, 1sc in 9sts.
Row 11. 1sc in 4, dec1, 1sc in 3-8sts.
Rows 12-14. 1sc in 8sts, FO at row 14.

The middle feather F hook
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 4sc in the 2nd st from the hook-4sts.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-8sts.
Rows 3—12. 1sc in each st, FO at the end of row 12.

The small feather F hook
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 3sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-6sts.
Rows 3-8. 1sc in each st, FO at the end of row 8.
                      
To make feet with orange yarn and a C Hook (make 6, 3 for each foot)


Ch2
Row 1. Wk 3sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-6sts.
Row 3. 1sc in each st-6sts.
Rows 4-8. Repeat row 3, FO (the first 2 toes).
Do not FO on the third toe, join each toe with a sl st, wk 1sc in each st around the top and the bottom of the 3 toes together. Repeat this for about 2 rows. Begin decreasing your sts until foot is closed, FO.

 To make the legs, with white & orange yarn and a F Hook
Ch2
With white yarn
Row 1. Wk 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc in each st-12sts.
Rows 4-8. 1sc in each st around, lightly stuff.
Row 9. Dec2sts, 1sc in 8sts, change to orange.
Row 10. 1sc in each st, around-10sts.
Row 11. 1sc in 5, dec1, 1sc in 3sts-9sts.
Row 12. 1sc in each st-9sts.
Row 13. 1sc in 4, dec1, 1sc in 3sts-8sts.
Row 14. 1sc in each st-8sts.
Rows 15-22. Repeat row 14, dec closed and FO.

To make the beak: with orange yarn and F Hook
Ch4
Row 1. 1sc in 3sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. 2sc, 1sc in 1, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 3. 1sc in 5, ch1 & turn.
Row 4. 2sc, 1sc in 3, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 5. 1sc in 7, ch1 & turn.
Row 6. 1sc in the FLO in each st, ch1 & turn.
Row 7. 1sc in 7, ch1 & turn.
Row 8. Dec1, 1sc in 3, dec1, ch1 & turn.
Row 9. 1sc in 5, ch1 & turn.
Row 10. Dec1, 1sc in 1, dec1, ch1 & turn.
Row 11. 1sc in 3, ch1, do not turn.
Row 12. Wk 1sc around the entire beak and FO. 

To make the arms: with white yarn a F hook (make 2)
Ch2
Row 1. Wk 4sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st, around-8sts.
Row 3. 1sc in each st, around-8sts.
Rows 4-18. Repeat row 3
Row 19. 2hdc in next 2sts, 1sc in 6sts-10sts.
Row 20. 1hdc in 4sts, 1sc in 6sts-8sts.
Row 21. Dec1, 1sc in 6sts-8sts.
Row 22. 1sc in 8sts.
Row 23. Dec sts until closed and FO.

To make the  T-shirt: with spring Green yarn a F hook
Ch35 & join ch1
Row 1. 1sc in each st around (I did not join).
Rows 2-3. Repeat row 1 changing color to white in last st.
Row 4. 1sc in each st around, change color to spring green in the last st.
Rows 5-6. 1sc in each st, change to dark green in the last st.
Row 7. 1sc in each st, change to spring green.
Row 8. 1sc in 6, dec1 around, 1sc in the last st.
Row 9. 1sc in each st, change to white.
Row 10. 1sc in each st around, change to spring green.
Row 11. 1sc in each st around.
Row 12. 1sc in 4, ch6, sk 6sts, 1sc in 8sts, ch6, sk 6sts, 1sc in 2, FO.
To make the sleeves, working on the outside, attach spring green near the ch6.
Row 13. Wk 1sc in the 6 top ch sts, 1sc in the 6sts at the bottom of the sleeve.
Change colors in every other row, FO. Repeat for the other sleeve and FO.
Attach spring green at the neck of the shirt and wk 1sc in each st, around.
Repeat 1 more time and FO.

 To make the shorts: with brown yarn
Ch31
Row 1. 1sc in each st, around-30sts.
Rows 2-11. Repeat row 1-30sts.



To make the short leg holes
With a sl st join the 2 sides together evenly and ch1.
Row 12. Wk 1sc in each st around 1 of the leg holes.
Because the legs of the shorts are wider in this area, increase your sts by 2 or 4 as you go around.
I worked 30sts around each short leg and FO.  

 To make the eye glasses: with spring green a C hook
Ch61.
Row 1. 1sc in each st, and FO-60sts.

Take the two end pieces and with a needle & thread sew them against each other and then to the top part of the glasses, like in the photo #1, 2

 Pinch both sides of the corners together and tack in place with a needle and thread.
To make the sides of the glasses:
Ch13, wk 1sc in each st across-12sts, using a needle and thread tack in place on both sides of the head.
My glasses are sewn on but only on the sides of the head, to make it look more real. You might want to sew the whole thing onto face for durability.
