Fun Birthday Party Set Up!
I love making things, and I really love making things for kids. Here I've chosen a Minnie Mouse Theme!
I love making things, and I really love making things for kids. Here I've chosen a Minnie Mouse Theme!
At Christmas I made a special table for my grandkids.
I wanted them to like sitting at their table so I made it special.
I started with the chair covers and I thought they would also make
a very cute Birthday table (above). When you make these use a
fabric that has a little give so they fit easier.
I love to crochet so I made these Minnie Mouse placemats.
They are super easy but if you don't know how to crochet.
You could make these with felt ( just sew or glue on the ears).
For the Minnie Mouse Name Cards.
To make the cut outs I used my ribbon spool to trace out the ears! I then used a CD and traced out the head! I applied a little tape and glue…and there you have it.
I applied the cut out to a wooden skewer, using tape.
Super easy and very inexpensive to make!
I inserted the Minnie Mouse cut out into a cheap balloon weight
that I picked up at my local Dollar Store!
I crocheted the Minnie Mouse gift bag that could be used
for party favors or for candy. I think a little girl would love it.
And again if you don't crochet you could use a small black paper
bag and put the mouse ears on the sides.
My cupcakes were super easy to make.
I used a pre-made fondant from the Michaels Craft store.
I applied black & yellow food coloring and made the famous
ears and then made some little shoes by hand.
I used home made butter cream frosting.
This really was inexpensive to make, and I think any little girl would love it!
I hope you've enjoyed looking at my blog and you find it useful!
