This pattern is really easy to make and I made her and
her costume in a couple of days...she's the
perfect Halloween gift for anyone
who loves this sweet Kitty!
Red Heart Super Saver Yarns used in Pattern:
White
Glowworm
Black (for whiskers)

Stuff and sew each arm to the sides of the body.

Rows 13-27. repeat row 12 and FO.
Sew the 2 legs together and then sew the legs to the bottom of the body.
To make the Ears: with White Yarn & D Hook (make 2)
Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st st-12sts.
Rows 3-4. 1sc in 12sts
Row 5. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 6. 1sc in 18sts
Row 7. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 8. 1sc in 24sts and FO.
To make the Pumpkin Costume: with Pumpkin Yarn & D Hook
The pumpkin costume is worked from the bottom up!

Rows 5-16. repeat row 4

Row 20. 1sc in 4, dec1sc around-70sts.
Row 21. 1sc in 3, dec1sc around-56sts.

Rows 23-26. 1sc in 42sts
Row 27. 1sc in 5, dec1sc around-36sts.
Row 28. ch9, sk 9sts, 1sc in 13, ch9, sk 9sts, 1sc in 5sts,
Row 29. 9sts in ch9 space, 1sc in 13, 9sts in ch9 space, 1sc in 5sts and FO.
For the pumpkin face cut out eyes, nose and mouth and glue onto the front of the costume.
To make the Leaf Collar: with Glowworm & G Hook
1st leaf: ch6 now working in the ch, 1sc, 1hdc, 2dc, 1trc, ch9
2nd leaf: 1sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 3trc, repeat the first leaf and the 2nd leaf until you have a total of 6 leaves, ch1.
Working along the top part of the leaves.
Row 1. wk 1sc in 25, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. repeat row 1
Row 3. 1sc in 25sts, ch1 & turn, wk 1sc around each leaf, when you reach the other side ch4 wk 1slst in the next st and FO.
Sew a small button on the other side of the button hole.
To make the Hat: with Pumpkin Yarn & D Hook
Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in 3, 2sc in the next st-30sts.
Row 6. 1sc in 4, 2sc in the next st-36sts.
Row 7. 1sc in 5, 2sc in the next st-42sts
Row 8. working in the FLO 1sc in 5, dec1sc around-36sts.
Row 9. 1sc in 4, dec1sc around-30sts.
Row 10. 1sc in 3, dec1sc around-24sts.
Row 11. 1sc in 2, dec1sc around-18sts.
Row 12. 1sc in 1, dec1sc around-12sts.
Weave the small opening closed and FO.
To make the Stem & Leaves: with Glowworm Yarn & D Hook
Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Rows 2-8. repeat row 1 and FO.
Sew to the top of the hat.
To make the small leaves on the hat: with Glowworm Yarn & D Hook
Ch5, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc in 2, ch7, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc in 3, 1trc in the last st and FO.
Tie around the stem.
With Black felt cut out small black oval shapes for the eyes, 1 bigger one for the nose and glue in place. thread tapestry needle and make the whiskers on each side.
