Tell your Sweetheart that
you love them!
With this super easy
Valentine's Day Banner
Turn an everyday cake plate into a
pretty candle display
I also added some pretty plastic
ruby's and some white cake doilies!
I would take the ribbon off when lighting!
The Banner is really easy to make:
Ch 2
Row 1-wk 1sc in 2nd ch from the hook, ch1
Row 2-wk 1sc in each st, ch 1 turn
Row 3-wk 2sc in each st, (4 sts) ch1 turn
Row 4- wk 1sc in each st, ch 1 turn
Row 5-wk 2sc in the first st,
1sc in the next 2 sts,
wk 2sc in the last st, ch1 turn
Row 5-sc in the next 6 sts, ch 1 turn
Row-6 wk 2sc in the 1st st,
1sc in the next 4 sts,
2 sc in the last st, ch1 turn
Continue repeating your rows.
This is just a matter of increasing your stitches in every other row.
I ended my triangle with 28
stitches in my last row,
you can make it as big or
as small as you want!
When I had it as big as I wanted,
I sc all the way around. I did mine in red, so you can't see it very well...
I think it gives it a really clean look!
I made a long chain using red and
white yarn together
I chained about 280 or so, then
I sewed each little flag on.
The letters were just sewed on
after I chained them.
I made some little curly Q's by
chaining about 20 and
sc in each stitch, I made
3 all different length's.
You could make it for a party,
a baby's room,
a big team flag for a little boy's room.
This would be really cute at a baby
shower for babies name reveal!
This one I sc all the way around, ch 2,
wk 3hdc in the 1st st,
slip stitch in the next,
repeat all the way around.
This is really pretty and perfect
for a little girl!
Happy Crocheting!!
