A Great Get Away: The Collins Inn & Seaside Cottages In Ocean Shores

My husband and I just had our 33rd Wedding Anniversary and
it went by so fast we really didn't even celebrate it...our daughter and her
husband and their beautiful baby came for a visit...right after they
left we decided to do something special for ourselves...I was on my computer
(I swear that's where I live) I found a really beautiful Inn in Ocean Shores...
so I showed my husband and he dusted off his motorcycle and a way we went.
Here are some of the pictures of the beautiful Inn we stayed at.

This is how you are greeted upon arrival at
The Collins Inn & Seaside Cottages
They make you feel so welcomed the moment you step inside!
This bar is unbelievable sitting next to it is
a huge aquarium.
The front room is gorgeous with this beautiful White Baby Grand Piano
sitting on these gorgeous floors...truly stunning!
The kitchen is a dream...everything you could possibly want
is in this kitchen!
A wine cellar that fits perfectly under the staircase.
Parts of the ceiling are done in this beautiful copper...the
effect is truly amazing!
Everything in the Inn is truly unique and beautiful.
There are some very whimsical pieces along with some
absolutely beautiful pieces of art.
At the top of the staircase there's a landing with
a telescope pointed out at the water.

In the Inn there are 5 rooms and each room has a name...we stayed in the
Pacific Room, there is the Sonora Room, Spiaggia Room, Turret Room
and the Wine Room...all of the rooms are beautiful
and each one is special...but the Turret Room has a bed that is
unbelievable and when we go back I want to stay in that room!

The jetted tub was wonderful...I could of stayed in there forever!
Jim & Rose really know how to treat their guest.
There's a fireplace in each room!
Each room has his & her robes, wine glasses, candles and chocolates.
I had so much fun looking at the books and reading
some of the diaries from past guest.
The shower was amazing with the big sprayer above and 4 sprayers below,
2 on each side...you can take your wine in there and
sit on the seat and just enjoy!
 Which I did!
In the morning a wonderful breakfast is served...which can be
eaten in your room or down stairs in the dining area!
Rose made a homemade Hollandaise Sauce for the Eggs Benedict that was so good, and the Belgian Waffle with Strawberries and Cream were just wonderful.

If you are looking for a weekend away... this is it!
So leave the kids and dog at home because this is play time for the adults!
Here's the link: http://www.collinsinn.com/
Thank You Rose & Jim
We Will Be Back!
