Hooded Winter Scarf

 This Pretty Hooded Winter Scarf
will be perfect for that cold winter time weather!!
The yarn I used is beautiful...it's called
Loops & Threads Charisma Royal Blue
and it's so soft and warm!
I didn't have anyone to model it,
although I did try to get
my husband to do it...but he said NO WAY!!
Boy you think you know someone...haha!
 This pattern is from Wellravelled.
The completed Scarf is available at Connie's Spot© Shop

Noah's Ark Baby Blanket

Noah's Ark Baby Blanket

I've been working on this baby blanket for
the longest time, for my daughter...
I thought I was never going to finish it... this was so hard to make because every row
has to be perfect or your stitches will be off...
you start every row with 3 stitches and you
end every row with 3 stitches!

I was totally over joyed last night when
I sewed on my last piece!
It's very soft and it's perfect for church
on Sunday's...and I can't wait to
be able to give it to her soon!

This pattern is in the Crochet Magazine
May 2008 issue and it was designed
by Michele Wilcox
I bought a subscription for the
digital version...
I love having it on my computer screen...
so when you buy it, it gives you access to
their archives...and I just fell in love
with this baby blanket!
Happy Crocheting!!

Spongebob and Patrick

I had a special request from one of my customers...asking me if
I could make her a Spongebob...I didn't have a pattern so I created
this myself...Spongebob had to have his best friend so I created
the pattern for Patrick the starfish too.
So here's Spongebob
And Patrick Spongebob's
best friend in the whole ocean!
It's getting mighty crowded in here!
Where did he go?
Dude I was just kidding!!
Because Spongebob's shoes are so distinctive, it was important to get
them to look like they do in
the cartoons!
I made them in two different pieces, sewing them together.
I stuffed the toe part and sewed it closed. Then I sewed the heel part to the toe. Then placing the leg inside and sewing it to the shoe to secure. I made the high heel part but I didn't like the way it looked so I took it off.
