Bird House Mobile

I just finished my
Bird House Mobile
this is a Special order for one of
my repeat customers...
I hope little Grace loves it!
The bird house is my own pattern
but I had never made a
bird before so the birds were
patterns I found online!
The white bird and the little
one's in the nest can be
found on Lion Brand!

The hanging bird pattern was

Designed by: Marlo D. Cairns
You could just make the
Bird House if you wanted to...It would
look really cute on display...here are
some pictures from all sides!
She is Queen of this house!!
I put some potted flowers,
a little front door with a
wreath and bow, I've added a stain
glass window!

I wanted to add some color
to my white bird
so I sewed some tiny roses on
the top of her head...
it looks like a little crown!
I put some leaves on the house
and added a little
butterfly...I made a planter box
for some more daisies!
I tried to make each side a little different
here I made a watering can and I added
some more buttons!
I just sewed the little daisy buttons on!

Decoration with Holiday Peeps

Easter Decorating
can be simple, easy and very
inexpensive when using
 those cute little Peeps
I let my Peeps dry out for a few days...
I hot glued Easter grass onto a styrofoam wreath...I put some
Mod Podge on the back of my peeps
when dry...I then hot glued them
to my wreath...tied a bow with
a piece of fabric!
For these in the little basket
I stuck tooth picks inside the Peeps
and pushed the tooth picks into a
small piece of Styrofoam...tied
a pretty little bow...and used a little
of that Easter grass and Walla!

This one is a small cake plate...
I put pink & purple Easter grass
and then stood my Peeps up with
a little double sided tape...I
used regular tape to make the grass
look like a nest...tied a little bow!
This would be really cute on your
Holiday table or your buffet!
 Happy Easter Everyone &
God Bless

Purple Passion Teddy Bear

It looks like someone got into their
Basket early!
Nothing says Easter better
then purple...well maybe
 Peeps, Jelly Beans and of
course Chocolate...even the
Teddy Bear has beautiful
purple eyes, and they're from
 Suncatcher Eyes!

I always loved putting together my kids Easter Baskets
then you can personalize them...making each basket special
The Teddy Bear is made with the same pattern
as the little red one...It's by Teri Crews
Just used a bigger hook and two strands of yarn...

Waiting for the Easter Bunny

Here's my new
Red Teddy

This little girl's waiting for the
Easter Bunny with her
matching basket!
When my girls were little they each
had a favorite toy that they slept with
every night...my oldest had a red bear...my youngest had a white bunny...
I couldn't help but think of them when
I was making these two cuties!
I miss tucking them into bed with their
bed time pals!!
These two patterns are from Teri Crews
The Red Teddy and Easter Bunny are now Available at My Shop on Etsy!
      Happy Easter!

Happy St. Patty's Day

I came out of the grocery store
the other day...and there was this
pretty rainbow and I just happened
to have my camera with me...
that never happens...
isn't it pretty!
It's time to go green!
This little hat was super easy
to make...and kids love
to wear hats...when you crochet
in the round and you have the
top part of the hat the size you want it,
then all you do is crochet in the back
loops and that makes the sides...it's
kind of like making a big coaster...
it's made in exactly the same way...
to make the brim you have to
double up your stitches, I had to play
around with it to get it to lay flat
the way I wanted.
I had nothing for St. Patrick's Day
so I made these little jar toppers
and filled them with Andes' Mints
I made the big hat and this
matching little hat jar topper!
Happy St Patricks Day!!
